Functional Neuromodulation

Functional Neuromodulation

Changing sensory information. Restoring function.

Persistent pain is not always caused by ongoing tissue damage.
Sometimes the nervous system continues to reproduce movement patterns that were once protective but are no longer helpful.

Functional Neuromodulation is based on a simple principle:
Never treat what you don’t understand.
Rather than focusing only on where symptoms are felt, we aim to understand why they persist.

A Different Way of Thinking

Every patient has a unique story.
Previous injuries, surgery, posture, movement, occupational demands, sport, sleep and lifestyle can all influence how the nervous system functions today.
For this reason, treatment is never based on diagnosis alone.
It begins with understanding how your body has adapted over time.

Neurofunctional Assessment

Neurofunctional Assessment

Your first consultation combines:
✔ Functional interview
✔ Postural assessment
✔ Gait observation
✔ Movement analysis
✔ Individualised treatment
Every response to treatment provides valuable clinical information, allowing the assessment and treatment plan to evolve together.

Functional Neuromodulation

Treatment is tailored to each patient.
There are no fixed protocols or universal treatment points.
Selected muscles, peripheral nerves and other sensory structures are stimulated according to your individual assessment, with the aim of encouraging healthier nervous system function and restoring movement.
