Dr. Geert De Zutter is a Specialist in orthodontics, he graduated as a Dentist from the University of Leuven – Belgium in 1985 with Magna Cum Laude. In addition, he has a postgraduate in orthodontics from the Medical University of Hannover – Germany and is a University Certified Specialist, Fachzahnarzt fuer Kieferorthopaedie.
He earned a Doctor Degree in Dentistry in 1989, in a study on “Facial Growth and skeletal and dento-alveolar Discrepancies”.
In his private practice in Belgium, Dr. De Zutter is focused on Orthodontic treatment for children and adults, and has a special interest in combined treatment of Orthodontic/Orthognathic surgery & Lingual Orthodontics, 3D Radiology.
He also holds a Master of Science Degree from the prestigious Lingual orthodontics Program in Hannover Germany, and is trained in this field by the world renown experts, Prof Dr. R. Schwestka – Polly and Prof. Dr. D. Wiechmann, the inventor of the first and only true customized Lingual Orthodontic Appliance and Treatment Philosophy. He is the only Specialist, together with Dr M. Sostmann, at the German Dental and Neuromuscular Clinic, who hold this degree in Dubai and the Middle East.
Dr. De Zutter, apart from his orthodontic expertise, is also very much involved and has gained a lot of expertise in the field of Sleep Apnea Treatment with Oral Appliances.
Dr. De Zutter is a member of several Orthodontic, Dental Sleep Medicine, Radiology Societies in Europe and the United States
